Geometry is no longer a static measure of invariant and unitary characteristics but what Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari have referred to as a “plane of consistency” upon which differential transformations and deformations occur. In this manner, the type or spatial organism is no longer seen as static whole, separate from external forces, but rather as a sensibility continuously transforming through its internalization of outside events. The focus of the seminar referred to the investigation of geometric relations and organizational principles. The Software Maya was employed as a generative tool for the derivation and evolution of form.
